SUMMER 2020 WORKSHOPS
July 6-11 & 13-18, 2020

Summit Theatre Group is thrilled to offer a variety of half-day and full-day workshops spanning the ages of Kindergarten through Adults. Student grades mentioned in the workshop description are based on grades just completed at the end of the 19-20 school year, no exceptions. These workshops will shape future STG Studio offerings as we develop this program.

Class sizes are limited to 10 participants each, with the exception of one adult class with 9 participants. Each workshop will have two instructors and one admin present. Due to the small class size, participants cannot register for duplicate workshops to give as much opportunity to everyone. For example, if you register for Musical Theatre in week one, you cannot register for it in week two or vice versa. Students may however register for as many different workshops as they choose over the two weeks as long as the workshop titles are different.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deadline for Week 1 workshops is Thursday, July 2, and Week 2 workshops are Thursday, July 9. Workshops will only be held if a minimum of 6 participants register – registrants will be notified if cancellation occurs. We will collect a wait-list once the workshops are full. It is extremely important upon registration that you verify the exact classes you are choosing; with limited size classes, we cannot accommodate transferring classes due to an error.

Workshops will be held at Unity Village in Lee’s Summit (Address: 1901 NW Blue Parkway, Unity Village, MO 64065.)  You can find a PDF labeled map here.  Check-in will take place outside on the courtyard by the bookstore and will start promptly (no early arrivals) at 9:00 am/1:00 pm, only lasting until 9:10 am/1:10 pm.  Students/adults will then be taken to the workshop classroom on campus.  Students will be brought back to the courtyard for pick-up at 12:00/4:00 pm

Upon completion of registration, an invoice will be emailed shortly after through our Square invoicing system. Payment is due immediately. Registration is not considered complete until payment has been received. Workshop fees include: instruction, participant supplies, COVID protocol & cleaning supplies, and projects completed to take home (see below for details.) Registration fees are non-refundable.
